I'm BOM-ing this year!

I am also participating in a BOM from Craftsy.  http://www.craftsy.com/class/The-Craftsy-Block-of-the-Month/50.  January's BOM is the two blocks above.  I'm using a collection from my stash, Metro Blue Goes Green by Marcus.  I found some very pale green fabric as the base fabric.  It looks white in the photo, but does have a green tint to it.  This is my year to do some new things and so far, I'm having fun and actually getting some things completed!  WooHoo!!

Free Motion Challenge -2012

I am participat​ing in an online BOM challenge to improve my free motion quilting.  Here is my January block.  Lots of room for improvemen​t, that is for sure!  My leaves are not all shaped the same and I have a few jerky areas and points, but hey...this is the first 'good' block I had with this leaf motif.  This challenge is by http://sewcalgal.blogspot.com/.  She has arranged to have a different FMQ Expert each month.  Our January expert is Frances Moore.  Take a look at the fabulous teachers SewCalGal has for us!

I don't know that I'll be actually blogging that much, but I thought this might be easier to show pictures of any BOMs that I'm participating in this year.  I'd like to save my Picasa Photo site for finished projects.  So with this thought in mind.....here we go!!!!!!
